which version of my script are you using?  The latest version has a
whole section of POD documentation at the top of it (it's human readable
if you don't know how to invoke it with perldoc).  Specifically tells
you which programs you need for which functions.

Ok, so I'll admit that I don't bother to check for the existence of
these files (I'll add that in)...  Though the documentation tells you
that you need mjpegtools.   I've also planned to rework how the
"disabled" stuff works so that you actually get error messages when you
try to use a disabled function.

A little help about which distro you're using would be nice..  Last time
I downloaded tooLAME, it was a standard tarball (.tgz is short for
.tar.gz) and compiled with the typical ./configure && make that most
things do (I built a spec for it so I can build rpm's, and the author
has said that he will include it in future relases.  If anyone wants
rpm's, I can make mine available.

It won't help you.  Myth has changed the nuv file format again and the
patch no longer helps.
