No, I did not miss it at all.
I appologize for a bit harsh comment.

As I said, I'm not annoyed by the message itself but the
reply was off the mark. I spent time reading it since
it was the reply for me, and, realizing that it was not
what I was expecting.

It is quite frustrating when mythbackend dies during recording,
which happened a lot during 0.10 for me esp. when I was
also watching. Once it dies during recording, I can not
start the mythbackend until I know that the box is not gonna
record.
