[mythtv-users] mythweb - Activate button

So what about the case where the 'keep x number of shows' is met. What
does the activate button do in that situation?

There are times that I have it only keep 5 shows, but I notice a particular
episode that I want to record. I can change the number of shows to keep,
but if there are several other episodes airings between now and the one I
want
I will have to record those too, then change it back to 5 shows to keep
after it
records the one I want. It would be nice for it to just override the setting
on a
per-show basis and record that show.

I was hoping that the activate button functioned in this manner, but if not I'll
deal with it. Mythtv certainly makes me want to learn to code though. I
haven't done any programming since college about 17 years ago, and that
was Pascal. I may start with php though, I can think of quite a few things
I'd
like to add to mythweb and it looks like it might be a little easier to pick
up.
