[mythtv-users] PVR-250 system: Autotranscode->MPEG4, no audio?

First let me say thanks to the developers and their hard work in providing a great system, I have been using it for 2 weeks, love it.

I have been running with a PVR-250 tuner/capture card, mpeg2 files @4GB/hr, decided to try out the transcoding feature to automatically transcode to MPEG4.

Followed the howto (section 20.16), made sure to match the transcoder profile to the default profile for audio settings (tried both 44.1 and 48Khz). Also, changed the audio settings on the capture card profile to match.

The auto-run feature runs great, I see the new .nuv files and the old .nuv files marked with the .old extension. However, when I go to watch the recorded program (via mythfrontend)... silence, no audio.

I have read the posting about audio problems where the recommedations all refer to matching the audio profiles.

Any other suggestions??

BTW, I tried (myth)mkmovie, without touching anything (just named the out files), and all I got were little short output files (112 MB)??
Tried reinstalling mythmkmovie RPM using apt-get (thanks Axil), but to no avail???
