xfree86 from cvs - with patches from bugzilla (see
http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=525)
linux-2.4.22-ac1 (though i see that 2.4.23-pre3 has the required drm
code for the cle266)
latest patches for v4l2 from www.bytesex.org
alsa 0.9.6 so that i can use the s/pdif output to my speakers
i2c-2.8.0 patched to handle changes in modules in 2.4.22 (see
http://delvare.free.fr/i2c/)
ivtv driver from cvs (patched by me to handle module changes)
only real difference is tht i have not got the ddmpeg library installed
i assumed to had to go hand in hand with the kernel
like you i have a low bitate (1.5/3.0) and 400x576 for live tv
will now try to get the ddmpeg stuff to work
i'm building a combined frontend/backend on a m9000
need all the cycles i can get
