[mythtv-users] CLE266 and hardware MPEG2 decoding

i must not understand fully what v4l does.  i thought it was video 
capture only, not video capture and playback.  i wasn't even aware that 
VIA had a v4l driver.  how is this going to play with my ivtv v4l driver?
