[mythtv-users] /dev/dsp inconcistent in Myth, but works in Freevo...

Well, I've tried a few things;

1. Running backend and frontend as root - same error.
2. chmod 777 on /dev/audio/* (which incidentally disappears after 
reboot)- same error.
3. chmod against the link /dev/dsp* does nothing.
4. Added group 'audio' to my user - same error.

The frustrating thing is it was working, but now it won't.  Having the 
system sounds disabled (no arts* anything running), and ensuring all 
esd's are killed off, what else might be 'holding' the /dev/dsp?
