Does the driver allow you to set horizontal/vertical
overscan separately?
If not, or even if it does, you can always set
overscan(s) high enough to be
sure the whole screen is covered, then fine-tune with
the Myth GUI Size and
Offset settings. This will allow you to fit the
picture exactly to your
screen. This is a personal preference, of course,
since broadcasters won't
put anything too close to the edges, but it matters to
some for movies. Be
aware that for many TV sets the exact screen size will
vary a bit with the
contents of the scene.
