[mythtv-users] I think my motherboard is broken. Any recommendations for a new one exclusively for MythTV use

My Soyo KT400 Dragon Platinum Ultra keeps shutting down after I turn it
on.  I removed everythng and even the cpu and reapplied with new thermal
paste but cant seem to get it to turn on and stay on.  Any ideas? 
Anyway, I might be purchasing another motherboard.  Any suggestions ? 
It will be used exclusively for Mythtv in a dual tuner setup.  Currently
my processor is an amd xp2400+.  I am concerned mainly about linux
compatibility.  If onboard sound works with Mythtv that is a plus.  I
also need onboard ide 3 and ide 4 since I have more than 400 gigs of
storage.  I have been away from the hardware scene for a while.  Thanks.
