I've had reasonable success with the flyvideo 3000 cards. Capture quality
seems better than my Pinnacle PCTV (which is mono). They seem more resistant
to interference generated by the internals of a PC too.

Audio is capture in stereo and the driver supports capturing over the PCI
bus eliminating the need for a full duplex sound card. There are a few
problems with the drivers though in the audio department. First was it was
incorrectly setting capture volume sometimes or muting completely. Possibly
this is a myth issue since Isaac has mentioned v4l2 isn't completely
supported and the drivers are v4l2. The muting when changing channels is out
of whack causing bursts of static when changing channels.

I believe these are only driver problems and will be fixed soon. Currently I
have my drivers patched so they don't mute ever. It causes bad static when
changing channels but since I rarely watch live TV any more I can handle
that. They drivers are being updated currently. I haven't tried the latest
ones for a few weeks now since I'm overseas, so some or all of these
problems might even be fixed.

Pretty cheap too. I picked mine up for A$85 from UMart including a credit
card size remote although I'm using my pinnacle PCTV remote instead.

Although the cards have FM reception I don't think it's stereo so I wouldn't
use that to decide between two cards.
