[mythtv-users] PVR-250 and MythTV 0.12/IVTV upgrade issues

Since upgrading from 0.11 to MythTV 0.12 and CVS'd IVTV about 4 days ago
I've been experiencing poor recording quality, from a slight blur to the
point where my mpeg2 player (zoomplayer/windvd codec/winxp) has difficultly
playing the file (video and sound is skipping). My immediate thought is
it's a IVTV/firmware thing, so I've spent the last few days mixing and
matching various firmware versions and the CVS and "alpha" tarball of IVTV,
with no luck. Rebooting or unloading/reloading the ivtv module doesn't
work. Since I don't use the MythTV frontend, another idea is that I'm
missing some PVR setting available when using the frontend code. Any ideas?
