[mythtv-users] PVR x50 and (de)interlacing

I'm trying to tackle the last major problem I'm having with my Myth
system.  I have a PVR 250 for recording and a GeForce4 MX 440-SE for
TV-out.  I'm quite happy with the video quality except in one area --
sports events or anything else with moderate horizontal pans results
in blurry video.  I've been told, and have come to accept, the problem
is due to interlacing -- the PVR records interlaced video, but the GF4
can't display interlaced video.  Turning on Myth's deinterlacing helps
some but not near enough.

Are there any other Myth users out there with PVRs that like to watch
sports?  If so, what are you using for TV-out and what do you think of
the video quality?
