My mistake, I didn't mean the kickstart package, but rather the package
that provides the full sources.list for apt. I think it is starting to
click in my head though... The initial kickstart has ayo.freshrpms.net
in there for all the Red Hat updates (via the os and updates channels),
but no freshrpms channel until after the dist-upgrade.

Yes, it would seem that some folks are only half-way following
directions, quite possibly... :(
