[mythtv-users] sub-libmyth error

I've been searching the lists to try and find a solution to my problem, it
sounds like my problem revolves around my X extensions library, on another
thread thor suggested

"locate libXext" and figure out why it's not in your linking path.

im just wondering what i should be looking for, im running debian woody,
only problem i have really encountered other than this was getting qmake,
only released as unstable as with its dependencies, i can install the '.deb'
and it installs qmake and lets me 'qmake mythtv.pro', apt prompts me to run
'apt-get -f install'  when i do it removes the package complaings about
dependencies, not sure if related
