[mythtv-users] db connection problems with remote frontend

I'm trying to figure out what went wrong in my setup here. I have a master
backend/frontend (192.168.1.28) running a 2 week old CVS. I just setup
another frontend on my laptop to test it out (last nights CVS). The laptop
has the mysql.txt file set to 192.168.1.28, and as the docs say I changed
the 127.0.0.1 in the ./setup on the master backend to (192.169.1.28).

Now I launch the frontend, it connects, and allows me to browse through
"watch recordings" list but with no preview. If I select a video and hit
enter, it won't do anything. Isn't it supposed to stream the video over the
myth TCP connection, hmm. The frontend console displays:
---
Error: /home/chris/video/1005..nuv file not found
Error: File Missing!
---

Now if I hit "Watch TV" I get about 1 second of video and it just freezes.
The frontend console displays:
---
2003-10-18 10:33:37 Enabled verbose msgs : important general
connecting to backend server: 192.168.1.28:6543
Opening OSS audio device '/dev/dsp'
Over/underscanning. V: 0.020000, H: -0.010000, XOff: 0, YOff: 0
Using XV port 69
Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
2003-10-18 10:34:12 prebuffering pause
** Then it just freezes and I have to kill the video and frontend
---

Also now I can't connect with MythWeb running on the backend itself, and I
haven't touched it out other than the ip changes I mentioned above in the
setup.
