[mythtv-users] Can't locate module lirc_dev / lirc_i2c

That would be the problem. That's the package that provides the modules.

It does. A quick apt-get install lirc-kmdl-2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at should 
fix your problem. Do that, then try the modprobes again.
