but... (and encoder issues)

Hi,
I am using the ivtv-driver and a PVR-350.
I grabbed the myth-sources from CVS and just modified the
ivtv-decoder-part from myth to support also PAL (with help from a
ivtv-guy) and patched (as mentionied on the ivtv-mailinglist) the
framebufferdriver to support also PAL. So I have PAL-Output with OSD.
But I have some problems with playback:
- The OSD is not completely visible. This is a overscan-issue, I think.
Is it possible to move the OSD-Part more in the middle (downscale).
- In Part, the OSD is visible twise. If I press pause, at the top and on
the bottom (in the right corners). Is there a way to handle this?
********
But I think I have also a problem related to the encoder:
If I start the backend everything is fine. But after the first recording
has started, mythbackend consumes all my CPU-Resources. Perhaps it is
related to the following errormessage: "IVTV_IOC_FRAMESYNC: Bad file
descriptor". It appears on the console (where mythbackend is running)
every second (more or less).
I had no problems using dd for playback and the recordtools from the
ivtv-guys.
Has anyone managed to use myth in a PAL-country with the PVR-350 (in
part) without these problems?
