[mythtv-users] codecparams for RTJPEG goes wildly out of control at random

Sometimes, no more than a day so far, myth starts recording at rates like
13GB/hour 20GB/hour, with apparently dynamic chroma noise reduction on!
(slight chroma ghosting).

I've tried editing the db so that the profile defaults are set at 1 instead
of 0, it makes no difference. I need to manually restart the backend.

I haven't found any similar posts so far, is this a known problem?

btw, dynamic noise reduction is a feature I'd actually like to use, if I had
control of it, the chroma/luma filters in RTJPEG seem only to be static
quantization... is it possible?
