[mythtv-users] Pauses in Live TV

I'm getting the same thing on 0.11... like 1/4 or 1/2 second pauses
completely intermittently, doesn't seem to be tied to any spike in
CPU/RAM usage or disk activity.

Athlon 1700+ on an Asus A7V8X-X (KT400)+512mb PC2100 if that makes any
difference, it'll usually do live TV (rtjpeg-170) at 640x480+deinterlace
with 20-30% idle CPU, 480x480 (mpeg4-2200) on scheduled recordings at
about the same. IDE-DMA's full on, it'll read from my Maxtor 8mb-cache
80GB at 50MB/sec. Whole thing's one big EXT3 partition '/' for now.

Just upgraded to yesterday's CVS level to see if that'll
solve anything... I was considering going up to kernel 2.6-test and
seeing if the performance improvements helped any. Will report back with
any findings.
