[mythtv-users] DVB recording playing slightly off pitch

Anyone got a DVB card that's playing ever so slightly slowly? It would
appear it's playing 48kHz audio at 44.1kHz.

It's sort of difficult to even tell sometimes unless you know what the
persons voice sounds like but once you notice it, it's quite annoying. Music
is very difficult to tell. Lip sync however seems to remain pretty good no
matter how long you play for

Now the strange thing is that renaming the recording to a .mpg and playing
it back on different windows machine it sounds fine and appears to run at
the correct pitch so the recording seems ok. Playing it via mplayer (thru
mythvideo) also exhibits the slight pitch decrease.

Playing back other mpegs, divxs and other programs recorded on analogue
cards via MythTV works fine. The pitch problem also occurs with recordings
made by dvbstream.

Anyone got an idea what could be happening. As far as I am aware nothing on
the system has changed. I realise it's probably not a Myth problem but I
figure you guys are the best to ask.
