[mythtv-users] Blank screen on live TV in CVS

I previously had Myth working with version 0.11 and a bttv card.
However, I picked up one of those ebay Hauppauge Freestyle cards.
I got it to work with 0.11, but I tried compiling and installing
CVS to play with the new profile support.

Everything seems to play nice until I go to Live TV. I get a
blank screen, and Myth doesn't respond to any keypresses. I
searched the lists, and came up with replies saying I have a
problem with /dev/dsp (don't to the best of my knowledge), or
that I told myth my PVR card is actually a V4L card (it is set up
as a MPEG2 card in the setup program.)

Here's the output from mythbackend:

sdh at apollo:~$ mythbackend -v all

While I do have both video capture cards (video0 is the PVR 250,
video1 is the bttv card) enabled, I've tried it with only the PVR
card with no success. My kernel is 2.4.22, compiled with the
v4l2 patches, and I am using the decoder-alpha version of ivtv
from Monday. It worked fine in 0.11, and I can capture all day
from /dev/video0. Both backend and frontend are the same
machine. I have tried upgrading my 0.11 database to CVS first,
then later dropped the database and reloaded from scratch.
Neither worked. Let me know if you need any other info, thanks.
