[mythtv-users] Change channel problems

I'm still no further on with this.  Any help or suggestions on how to
further debug appreciated.


When I change attempt channel change mythbackend gives the following
messages:
come out of mythfront end:
In the session below I pressed a single key, '2' and 2 came up on the screen
and faded. No other keys were pressed.

After the key press the visible '2' fades and the
TV-noise pattern on screen (i've not run xawtv since boot up tis time)
freezes and then the time appears in top right and
a red and white boat (well, oil tanker!) shape appears on the bottom of the
screen accross the bottom. If we're already tuned in this will normally
contain a persons name.  Time and boat shape then fade leaving the tv
channel unchanged, in this case set to an un-tuned channel.

A chanel number such as 33 gives similar results. Not sure whats required.

Any help on this, I'd really appreciate  because I really have no clue how
to fix this.

Using XV port 57
Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
