I've noticed that it renice's to 19 (the lowest priority) immediately after
launching the transcoding process.

I was just wondering how transcode works. I know you can set it up to
transcode recordings upon completion, but I am just worried that when the
next show starts immediately that it may interfere with the recording. So I
would like to know is transcode setup so that it is nice enough to allow
enough cpu not to interfere with recordings?
