[mythtv-users] ALSA driver 0.9.8 does not work on SB Live cards

Well I'm a new mythtv user and I've never installed
alsa on my redhat box. So I'm not upgrading I'm just
following Jarod's howto page which says to use apt to
install the latest alsa stuff. 

FYI I also have just a SB Live! no 5.1. I see that the
pre1.0 rpms seem to work ... Ii'll give that a try.
