[mythtv-users] video and sound devices and pvr

Hi

I am a bit confused about what the various video and sound devices are
for.

Audio: i am using alsa, and the sound of movies plays just fine. lsof
       told me that mplayer had the device /dev/snd/pcmC0D0c open while
       playing the video. but that device did not work for mythmusic.to
       get mythmusic to work i had to load snd-pcm-oss and set /dev/dsp
       as output device. is that the way to go?

Video: i use a pvr 350. what -vo setting do i have to use for mplayer?
       -vo x11 gives the error:
       It seems there is no Xvideo support for ypur video card available.

Apart from that, mostly everything is working ok.
