[mythtv-users] Sony SatB50 vs RCA480

I've got both of these receivers.  I've been using the SatB50 because it 
uses a standard serial cable for it's low speed data port, but it's 
extremely slow on channel changes.  I'm curious as to if anyone else is 
using this receiver, and how slow it is.

I might build a cable for the rca, does anyone think it would be faster?  

It takes my sony about 10 seconds to start displaying video.
