[mythtv-users] record live tv records blank screen

Hi All
 When I try to schedule a recording or manually record somthing off of 
live tv
I get a recording however  it is 175 megs of black screen...

when i do a cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
it works fine.

I have installed  RH9 and followed Jarod's  EXCELLENT step by step  
setup guide, following it line by line.

I have :
nVidia ti4200
pvr-250
shuttle motherboard av40
soundblaster live!

Am i just missing something in the setup?
