[mythtv-users] Setting cutpoints for very short video

I am setting cutpoints in a video that I have recorded.  I would like to 
isolate just a 5-10sec section of the video.  However, whenever I place 
the 2nd cutpoint it keeps asking to move the 1st cutpoint b/c the spot I 
have picked is close to the first cutpoint.
My questions...
- is it possible to set/change the "how close you are to an existing 
cutpoint so I'll assume you want to move the existing one instead of 
placing a new one" setting
- manually enter a cutpoint.  Entering one through recordedmarkup looks 
pretty ugly since my cutpoints are in HH.MM.SS.FF
