[mythtv-users] Slackware

Over the next week I plan to trash my existing Red Hat install for
Slackware 9.1.

Whilst I expect there to be issues (mainly working out a different way
of doing things) I am hoping that it won't be too much of a drama.

I would appreciate any tips from existing Slackware users. Not looking
for any how-to's or long explanations. Just any gotcha's etc to look out
for.

Looking thru the Slackware docs I see that on install you have a choice
of kernels to use. Obviously this is important (so any advice on what
people are using with the myth environment would also be appreciated)
