[mythtv-users] DVB Support

Hi,
I'm wanting to build a Linux based PVR and have been looking at both Myth and VDR.
I prefer the configurability of Myth, but need the DVB support of VDR. 
There is some mention of DVB support on the Myth site, but it said it was only rudimentary and that more DVB support would be forthcoming. Does anyone know when that will be and what will be supported?
Any info much appreciated.
