You can also get the "Halloween-Edition" of ivtv:

http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/axboe/ivtv/older/decoder-alpha-311003A.tar.bz2

This should work fine with vanilla 0.12.

At the moment this seems to be the most stable ivtv driver. For the
future you should upgrade to mythtv cvs, so you can stay up to date with
the next ivtv versions.

That is:

1. Uninstall all mythtv rpms.
2. Checkout mythtv from cvs (see docs on mythtv.org)
3. Get ivtv-driver cvs-latest tarball.

Hint: The ivtv driver is heavily worked at and from time to time highly
experimental. Maybe you want to save a working config of your current
setup and of a working 0.12 with 311003-ivtv. Just copy
/lib/modules/2.X.YY and /usr/local (for self compiled myth, for rpms
you'll have to check what you have to backup). This way I can test new
drivers and switch back to the working configuration with two 'rm's, two
'ln -s's and a reboot.
