Are you using an old version of MythTV?
Before 0.12 came out, nuvexport needed a CVS version of MythTV to work.
After 0.12 came out, nuvexport was fine...
If that doesn't work, you can look through nuvexport (open it up in a
text editor) and replace the places where it tells mythtranscode to use
"autodetect" to "Default"... That should do the trick.
