Thanks Ivan! ... that was the trick! They load properly now. Now I just get an
error when trying to use the card (bttv) so far nothing on google really
nailing it  :\

I get this in messages when xawtv starts:
tuner: TV freq (268435455.93) out of range (44-958)

and this when I try to change to 'NTSC' in xawtv:
bttv0: PLL can sleep, using XTAL (28636363)

I dont suppose anyone has run into this?
