There are 2 places. In the backend setup, where you define a capture
card, you can set a sample rate *limit* for that card. (Actually, I
don't really know what that does... presumably it won't record higher
than that rate for that card). The setting you probably need to
adjust, though, is in your recording profile, under Setup->TV
Settings->Recording Profiles. There's a setting for 'Audio sample
rate'.

Ok so I set the sample rate in both places to 32000 which was the smallest
setting. I didnt realize before though, that this is the output in my
mythfrontend terminal as the fastforward is happening
Audio buffer overflow, Audio data will be lost
