[mythtv-users] MythVideo giving me R + L black bars playing .avi's

I can't shake the feeling that there is a simple
solution, but when I play .avi's generated from TV
shows (hence the regular TV format), I get black bars
on the left and right hand side of the screen. Any
idea of how to correct this?
