[mythtv-users] Dolby Digital and S/PDIF, sound card recomendation

I have a Pundit and I have the same problem as
discussed last week in this thread:

Briefly, S/PDIF on the Pundit is not working (light is
on but no sound). I tried the same thing in Windows XP
but I can only get stereo sound (no surround when
playing DVDs).

I am about to buy a new sound card for my Pundit,
which one will reliably output Dolby Digital 5.1 (or
6.1) on the S/PDIF output (I need it for DVD
playback)? Suggestions?
