[mythtv-users] Database of working systems?

A database of system information would be very valuable for linux newbies 
like myself.

Each entry would have the details of someone's working MythTV box.

A hardware list, the Linux distribution used and theintallation options 
chosen, the version of MythTV used, any additional software that was needed, 
and the configuration files would be everything that's needed.

This would make putting a MythTV box together from scratch simple even for 
folks like me.

I couldn't find anything like this in the user mailing list archives.

Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?
