[mythtv-users] XBox as a front end?

I have been using an Xbox as a mythfrontend now for the past month or so.
It works great! I use Ed Debian, and the install and setup was not too bad.

My frontend performs fine, it will run all my recorded shows with no
problems, it plays Divx movies fine, and the mythmusic modules makes it a
really useful MP3 jukebox in the TV room.

I am 99% sure that it is running at 100, but anyway all my videos play fine
across my small network at home, that is just running from a 100 hub, not
even a switch.

Yep it does work under Linux. The standard driver that ships with Ed's
Debian distro has some awful double key press problems, but a mate and I
have redone it so that it now works great. I am trying to get it included
in the Sourceforge xbox-linux cvs, but in the meantime if anyone wants it
mail me direct.

Cheers
