Isn't it already there?

   mysql -u mythtv -p your_password mythconverg
   select * from settings;
   update settings set data='/home/mythtv/tv' where   
   
      value='RecordFilePrefix';

P.S. Be sure you have the semicolon at the end
of the line.  I always seem to forget it.
