[mythtv-users] Scan Converters vs Video Card TV out, whats better?

i have the same model you are talking about.. And it's great.
I can only compare it the the nvidia tv-out.
And it's a BIG difference.
Before i used a pc monitor for doing my stuff and only watched tv and my tv.
Now i do everything on my tv.

text is verry readable. and so on...
a realy must buy.

  Does anyone have any experience with scan converters? In general the Averkey series, i'm looking to get one as I'm trying to improve on the video out quality over my current G4 mx440 card. My big question is basicaly if these scan converters give a good picture, plain and simple? If anyone has compared them with tv out they have, then please let me know how they compare. I've looked at the averkey 300 Gold, and that looks promising and a decent price most of the time on ebay :-P

  One last question, how do you post replies to message on the mailing list? (mail using the same subject or something?
