[mythtv-users] Mythtv and Xawtv together

Hi, 

I've MythTv running well on my RH8.0 computer with
a WinTV capture card . I'm using ALSA . I have the line
out of the Capture card into the Mic in of the SB Live
sound card. MythTV records and plays TV well but I can't
play Xawtv. i.e with the setting for Mythtv , Xawtv display
video but the audio is muted. Currently I have two
settings asound.mythtv.state and asound.xawtv.state. 

I do alsactl -f asound.mythtv.state restore to use mythtv
and xmms. 
To watch on xawtv , I do alsactl -f asound.xawtv.state restore
but xmms is muted. 

Is it possible to have both MythTV and Xawtv be playing on the
same ALSA settings ? Please note, I'm not looking to play them
simultaneously, just the ability to play MythTV, Xawtv and Xmms
without having to keep changing the audio settings with alsactl.
