[mythtv-users] *Newb* Have everything installed/config, just cant get XMLTV working....help?

are you running the gui config as the same user that youre running 
mythfilldatabase with?

the gui config writes the data about your location etc., to a .xmltv 
file in the home dir for whichever user ran setup... if you run 
mythfilldatabase as a different user then the data is not read by 
xmltv... also what version of xmltv did you install?
