[mythtv-users] Asus Pundit PCMCIA

Hi,

For those with Asus Pundits: have you been able to get the PCMCIA slot
on the front to work right?

I'm at 90% - using gentoo, 2.4.20rc3 kernel, the kernel pcmcia stuff
including yenta_socket. I had to exclude irq 12 (PS2 mouse), as well
as the usual ones included in the standard config.opts.

My remaining weirdness is that the first time you insert a card after
loading the cardmgr, the machine stops dead until the take the card
out. On inspection of /proc/interrupts there has been millions of
interrupts on the irq11 (used by yenta_socket and shared by the pcmcia
card intself.

Waiting for the cardmgr to notice the card is removed, then reinsert
the card and it works fine.

Any comments or suggestions?

This is a first-step to trying to boot the MythFE off of that slot.

Thanks,
Steve
