[mythtv-users] Honestly have no idea what to do anymore....cant even display static

First off heres my sys specs
Athlon xp 2ghz
512 mb ram
160 gb hdd
geforce 2mx w/tv-out
leadtek winfast tv2000xp

I followed all of the instructions pretty closely, im just really
confused.  Xawtv displays nothing for me, just a black screen, not even
static.  Im not sure of 2 things, 1. to see if the driver is working or
2. how to tell xawtv what card to use.
Also, any time I try to edit my /etc/modules.conf to add in the line
options bttv card=34, tuner=2 (using vi) then I save and reboot and its
back to its original state, whats up w/that.
Ive been using modprobe bttv card=34, tuner=2 for the time being.
Still, nothing.  Honestly don't even know what to do anymore.  Though I
followed the directions pretty closely.  And ive looked at any
documentation for xawtv and I didn't find anything helpful
If anyone can shed some light on this please do, I can post more info if
you need.
