The only problem with this is that you haven't really solved the problem
of grounding the Cable/Antenna.  This potentially means that the lowest
resistance to ground is through your computer/stereo equipment - which
is a "bad thing" during a lightning strike.

(Or at least that's my understanding of the issue as explained to me
by an electrician.)
