FYI -- Using aumix instead of kmix or (the command line instructions)
corrected the problem with the right channel. If I get audio buffer
overflows the audio will still turn to static and then fail. This usualy
happens when I use the EPG. The EPG is also painfully slow.

Subject: Still have problems with sound.

I have chucked the PVR-250 until I can find out more about the failed
audio from the ivtv list. But I am now having problems with my wonder
ve. The audio is only playing out of the left channel. I have upgraded
to 9.10 and last night to the latest version in cvs with no effect. When
I listen to the line-in, both channels are playing correctly. When
watching live tv, the right channel will play static when first
initalized, then it changes to a clicking sound. When I play a recording
there is also no right channel but no clicking. I am using a standard
Mandrake 9.1 build using a sis7012 sound card.

Additionally after using myth for a while, (usualy after changing the
channel) the audio starts to sound like a Cylon (ala battlestar
galactica). Changing the channel again will allow it to recover.

-- By the way I am also using the experimental DCT2000 script for serial
control and it works great. I had to tweek it to send leading Zeros.

Thanks for any assistance

Eric Smith
