[mythtv-users] Number of threads needed?

The PIDs are different, so does this mean that they are NOT threads, or 
could my kernel give PIDs to threads?

I was more curious if this is the behaviour that everyone else sees.

most versions of top report threads as different processes, even though
they are actually sharing the same space.  Check the PIDs.. I'm guessing
they will all be the same.
