Just run the changechannel.sh script (with the parameter of a channel
that you know you receive) from the command line and see if it works.

Example:

/usr/local/bin/changechannel.sh 3

(I'm having deja vu here... I could have sworn I wrote the *exact* same
thing 2 days ago!)
