[mythtv-users] Is there a settings file,
or must I use mythfrontend to change my settings?

All the settings are in a mysql database. If you can ssh in, try the
following:
% mysql
mysql> USE mythconverg ;
mysql> UPDATE settings SET data = '<your halt command>' WHERE value =
'HaltCommand' ;
mysql> quit
