[mythtv-users] Two issues with the PVR-250 and MythTV

Finally re-doing my Shuttle SS40G - using the PVR-250, am able to bump the
(Athlon) CPU voltage way down, so the fan stays most quiet. Very cool.
Anyway, I can cat /dev/video0 > ./Capture.mpg no problem, mplayer the
resulting file works too.

Issue - to get a picture, I need to do a "test_ioctl -p 4". Then, when I
run myth(backend), and then shut it down, the channel has been changed back
to "0" (thus, when I try to watch live tv, I get nothing but a black
screen). "test_ioctl -p 4" puts everything back right. Am I missing
something obvious? What must I do to have it keep that setting?

Also - probably a stupid question, but I assume that MythTV can change
channels using the PVR-250? Does it need anything special (e.g. ptune.pl
from ivtv) to setup?

Thanks for any pointers,
Greg
